We are looking for a Value Added Product Designer Readymix to join our Readymix (RMX) team - someone who can turn insight into cutting-edge products and help grow our market presence through innovation. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of Research and Development, commercial insight, and technical excellence, helping deliver high-performance, sustainable concrete solutions that meet the evolving needs of the construction industry.
Work on innovative, niche concrete products with real commercial impact:
- As a VAP Mix Designer, you'll lead the design, testing, and deployment of advanced concrete products.
- Evaluate designs against performance, cost, and commercial viability.
- Ensure compliance through audits and testing protocols.
- Deliver technical training to product support and operational teams.
- Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence in all activities.
- Strong understanding of Readymix testing processes and corrective actions.
- Ability to translate technical performance into practical, scalable solutions.
- Concrete-related qualification e.g. Concrete Society, University Certificate in Concrete Technology (advantageous).
- Knowledge and experience of concrete products, processes, applications and best practice.
