We are recruiting a Mobile Multi Skilled Operative to support quarry operations across multiple sites in the Caledonian region, based from Tarmac Park Quarry, Nairn, Inverness. The role involves operating a range of mobile and static plant and supporting safe, efficient production of construction materials. This role is easily accessible from Inverness, Nairn, Forres, Ardersier, Culloden, Smithton and surrounding areas. A company van is provided due to multi-site working.
What You’ll Be Doing
- As part of a skilled operational team, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of quarry operations, including:
- Operating quarry plant and machinery such as loading shovels, excavators and processing plant
- Supporting mobile and static plant operations
- Carrying out day-to-day maintenance, inspections and excellent housekeeping
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure quality materials and on-time deliveries
- Championing a zero-harm safety culture and following site health and safety protocols
