What You’ll Be Doing
As our Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will:
- Respond swiftly and safely to plant breakdowns, delivering high-quality repairs.
- Implement permanent solutions for temporary fixes to improve long-term reliability.
- Drive enhancements in plant performance and proactive maintenance.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and support root cause analysis to prevent reoccurring failures.
What We’re Looking For
You’re an experienced mechanical maintenance professional with a passion for engineering excellence. You’ll bring:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar maintenance role, including fabrication and welding.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices—hydraulics and pneumatics experience a plus.
- Apprentice-trained Level 3, ONC/NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with TPM methodology, Continuous Improvement, and predictive maintenance.
- Experience using CMMS systems and confidence in Root Cause Analysis.
- A self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
