The Opportunity
As Programme Manager, you'll take ownership of a complex, high-profile transformation programme from strategy through to successful delivery. Reporting directly to Programme Sponsors and the Steering Committee, you'll lead the programme vision, ensure business value is realised, and drive delivery across business and technology workstreams. You'll be responsible for bringing together people, processes, technology and change to create meaningful business outcomes whilst ensuring delivery remains on scope, on budget and on time.

- Establish a compelling vision that inspires teams and drives engagement throughout the transformation.
- Deliver Business Value
- Own the programme business case, budget and benefits realisation strategy.
- Maximise organisational value through effective planning, governance and decision-making.
- Ensure successful delivery of business and technology objectives while maintaining quality standards.
- Shape Governance & Delivery
- Define and embed robust programme governance across all workstreams.
- Manage programme scope, risks, dependencies, budgets, resources and timelines.
- Oversee programme controls, reporting, assurance activities and executive updates.
- Lead High-Performing Teams
- Build, coach and inspire cross-functional teams across business, IT and external partners.
- Ensure programme teams have the capability, tools and support required to succeed.
- Create an environment that encourages collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Drive Sustainable Change
- Lead organisational change activities that embed new ways of working.
- Influence senior stakeholders and facilitate the cultural and behavioural changes required for long-term success.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, sponsors and steering groups.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a proven transformation leader who thrives in complexity and has a track record of delivering major enterprise programmes. You'll Bring:
- Extensive experience leading large-scale business transformation programmes
- Proven SAP S/4HANA delivery experience within Supply Chain, Logistics or Order-to-Dispatch environments
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging at Executive and Board level
- Demonstrable programme governance, financial management and benefits realisation expertise
- Experience managing system integrators, third-party partners and complex delivery ecosystems
- Outstanding change leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence behaviours and drive adoption
- Deep understanding of programme management methodologies such as MSP, PgMP, PRINCE2 and PMP
- A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience, supported by a recognised Programme Management certification (MSP, PgMP or equivalent)
Who You Are
You are:
- A visionary leader who inspires confidence and clarity.
- A strategic thinker who can connect business outcomes with technology delivery.
- A confident decision-maker who excels in complex environments.
- A relationship builder who can influence at every level.
- Resilient, accountable and relentlessly focused on achieving results.
- Passionate about delivering sustainable business change.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a flagship transformation programme that will shape the future of one of the UK's leading businesses. You'll have executive-level visibility, significant influence, and the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy through a transformation that impacts the entire organisation.
