This role is commutable from Quorn, Loughborough, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Coalville, Shepshed, Syston, Glenfield, Ibstock, Sileby, Kegworth, Nottingham, Derby, Grantham, Matlock, Tunstead, Dene, Ashbourne, Oakham, Bardon Hill and the surrounding areas. Main Responsibilities Reporting directly to Quarry Supervisors. The Multi Skilled Quarry Operative will work on the day-to-day operations driving mobile plant as part of the Quarry load and haul fleet. Your responsibilities as the Multi Skilled Quarry Operative will include (not exhaustive): * Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality responsibilities* Follow SHE policies and procedures* Operating Mobile plant/Fixed plant on site* Assist the Supervisor with meeting daily/weekly production targets* Ensure plant conforms with safety requirements at all times* Inspections on the plant, reporting defects and assisting to implement remedial action* Ensure that plant availability is maximised* Working to keep housekeeping around site to a high standardThe Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within an Industrial, Factory or similar environment as an operative or labourer.
