The successful candidate for the role of Logistics Coordinator will have a wide range of responsibilities including:
- Liaise with operations staff and plant operators to collate information regarding contracting supply chain and plant supply.
- Coordinate, in conjunction with operations, the efficient organisation and delivery of material/plant resources to meet the programme needs.
- Daily ordering of materials, booking of deliveries and notifying management of problems – assist in problem solving.
- Support the teams with administration duties where necessary.
- Collate and format monthly stats and reports for the Operations Manager.
Essentially you will ensure the smooth and economical running of a number of projects, giving support to the Contracts Managers, Project Agent, Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, Batching Plant Operators and liaising with administrators.
Qualifications:
- Secondary school education, A Levels etc or equivalent.
- Requirement for experience in successfully leading and developing teams.
- You should have a good working knowledge of both Microsoft Office and SAP and be able to demonstrate knowledge of material types and types of plant.
- Experience of working within a busy environment is advantageous as is the ability to work remotely with multiple colleagues and suppliers.
