What You'll Be Doing As Multi Skilled Operative you'll play a key role in the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the asphalt plant ensuring products are produced to specification and customers receive excellent service.
This will include: Mixing and producing asphalt products to customer specifications Operating fixed and mobile plant equipment Assisting in achieving daily and weekly production targets and planning daily operational activities Monitoring stock levels and assisting with material replenishment Carrying out weighbridge duties Operating a loading shovel Performing routine plant inspections and reporting defects Supporting planned maintenance activities Maintaining high housekeeping standards across site and ensuring health, safety, environmental and quality standards areadhered to at all times Working closely with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and on-time deliveries What We're Looking For If you have experience operating mobile plant within asphalt, aggregates or construction materials production then this would be ideal but we also welcome applications from those with experience in manufacturing operations, production, industrial, heavy plant or other site based operations too.
Suitable candidates will alsopossess: A strong work ethic and positive attitude Good communication skills Ability to work safely and follow procedures Proactive approach to problem-solving Flexibility and reliability Full UK Driving Licence Basic IT skills Loading Shovel Licence(preferred)Don't worry if you don't have direct asphalt experience.
