About the Role
Reporting into the Senior Administrator, the successful Administrator will entail providing comprehensive administrative and financial support to the national road planning operations where you will ensure the accurate processing of data, invoices and documentation.
Please note that this role is based in Rand (near Market Rasen, Lincolnshire); any prospective candidates must have their own transport and be willing to work in this location.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you as the successful Administrator will be carrying out the following duties and responsibilities (not exhaustive):
- Financial Administration: Processing and reconciling external subcontractor invoices and internal contract invoicing including the management of payment certificates, aged debt, and payment reconciliations. Performing credit checks and monitoring cash collection. Maintaining and updating invoice registers and planning analysis spreadsheets. Maintaining and reconciling daily record sheets, HGV tickets, and contract information sheets.
- Procurement & Supplies: Ordering and reconciling Arco / Lyreco supplies and customised stationery.
- Employee & Office Support: Tracking and reporting sickness absence, employee holidays, and wages data. Drafting and distributing employee memos and communications. Maintaining health & safety manuals and ensuring compliance documentation is up to date.
- Commercial Support: Providing month-end support to Quantity Surveyors.
