We are currently looking for an Estates Surveyor to join our team. The department head office is based at The Hub, Mountsorrel, Leicestershire; however, we can offer a range of office locations throughout the UK and we offer a hybrid working model. The successful candidate will be able to work within a team and under their own initiative while working remotely.
In the role of Estates Surveyor, you will be responsible for a number of tasks including:
- Overseeing day-to-day estate management matters on freehold and leasehold industrial and commercial property
- Negotiating lease renewals and rent reviews with landlords and their agents
- Assisting with property-related costs, including repair and maintenance
To be successful in the role of Estates Surveyor, you'll need to be available for UK-wide travel and have experience of:
- Industrial and commercial property ownership and occupation in the UK, including landlord and tenant legislation
- Industrial and commercial property market agency in the UK
- Negotiation of rent reviews, lease renewals and general estate management matters
- Mineral and aggregates related property experience is of interest, but not essential
