Are you a confident writer who can turn complex technical information into clear, persuasive and compelling content? We're looking for a talented Bid Writer to join Tarmac, supporting the securement of high-value opportunities across our UK operations.
This is a key role within our commercial and business development activity, where your words will directly influence our success. Working as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team, you'll help shape winning submissions that showcase our expertise, innovation and value to customers.
In this role, you'll take ownership of producing high-quality bid and tender submissions that stand out for clarity, consistency and impact:
- Writing and coordinating responses for bids, tenders, PQQs and ITTs, ensuring they are client-focused and compliant.
- Maintaining and developing bid content libraries, templates and standard responses to drive quality and consistency.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of our bid processes, content and ways of working.
We're looking for someone who combines strong writing capability with organisation and attention to detail:
- Proven experience in bid writing, proposal writing or a similar role, with the ability to tailor content to different audiences.
- A proactive, detail-focused mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
