Working closely with commercial and operational teams, you'll influence business strategy, develop customer relationships and help build a strong pipeline of opportunities across the region.

You will support the Commercial Manager and wider business in delivering commercial objectives and growth plans by managing the pricing and tendering process from enquiry through to submission:

  • Producing accurate, competitive and high-quality tenders
  • Assessing financial, contractual, operational and technical risks
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, clients and key stakeholders
  • Reviewing and appraising completed tenders to identify lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Ensuring compliance with company processes, policies and governance procedures
  • Contributing to the delivery of regional and national commercial strategies

You're someone who enjoys solving commercial challenges and has a keen eye for detail. Significant commercial and estimating experience within Highways, Surfacing, Civils, or Infrastructure is required, along with:

  • Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
  • Confidence when navigating both financial and contractual risk
  • Experience building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • An understanding of how commercial decisions impact wider business performance
  • A commitment to safety, quality and delivering value
