If so, we’d love you to join us as an Invoice Processing Administrator within our high‑performing P2P team at Tarmac.
Why this role matters
As an Invoice Processing Administrator, you’ll report into the Accounts Payable Lead and play a crucial part in ensuring that supplier invoices are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with our internal controls. You’ll be at the heart of maintaining strong vendor relationships, supporting internal teams and helping safeguard the business against financial risk. No two days are the same—whether you’re resolving invoice discrepancies, spotting potential fraud risks, or collaborating with colleagues across Finance, Procurement and Operations to keep everything running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
- Reviewing and processing invoices that fail automated matching
- Investigating discrepancies, including price, quantity and PO mismatches
- Checking CIS‑eligible invoices for accurate tax treatment
- Processing non‑PO invoices in line with internal approval workflows
- Assigning invoice queries and maintaining accurate audit trails
- Managing the shared invoice mailbox with timely, professional responses
- Guiding vendors on corrections for non‑compliant invoices
- Building positive external relationships through clear, consistent communication
- Acting as the first line of defence against payment fraud
- Ensuring compliance with fraud prevention procedures
- Supporting audits and maintaining adherence to financial controls and P2P standards
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Working closely with P2P, Procurement, Operations and Finance teams
- Reconciling supplier statements and identifying improvements in processes
- Participating in optimisation and testing initiatives
What you’ll bring

- Knowledge of financial controls and CIS rules

Experience & Education
- Experience in invoice processing or similar finance roles
- Skilled in Excel and comfortable working with SAP
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Who you’ll be working with
You’ll be part of a supportive P2P function that includes Accounts Payable Administrators, Purchase Order Administration, Business Partners, SOX & Technical, and more. You’ll also liaise regularly with Operational Teams, Procurement, IT, Vendors and Auditors.
