This senior technical manager will join the South West and Wales Leadership Team, guiding the regional technical function across our aggregates and asphalt business.
The role is highly influential, responsible for delivering technical excellence, supporting strategic objectives, and developing a high‑performing team to ensure long‑term success in the region.
Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the regional technical team to deliver exceptional performance.
Drive the technical strategy and optimisation priorities across the region.
Support operational teams to improve efficiency and maximise product performance, including the use of RAP materials.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and quality enhancement.
Provide technical solutions and pavement design proposals for contract bids.
Build strong relationships with customers, highways engineers, local authorities and industry stakeholders.
Coach and develop future leaders through effective succession planning.
Promote a culture of safety, collaboration and operational excellence.
