Assistant Manager (Asphalt Plant) Location: At Tarmac, who you are matters. Werelooking for an Assistant Manager (Asphalt) to join our friendly team at our Halecombe Asphalt Plant in Frome. Youll lead a team, manage budgets, and make sure our customers receive the high-quality products and service they expect. Overseeing safe operation and maintenance of plant and equipment Driving a strong safety culture through toolbox talks and risk assessments, implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Systems of Work Managing stock control, operational reporting, and budget performance Coaching and developing a high-performing team Supporting commercial teams to deliver excellent customer service Leading continuous improvement initiatives and change projects Whatwerelooking for Wereseeking someone who brings: Proven experience in asphalt operations and plant management Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and environmental compliance SHE NVQ Level 4/QCF Level 6andIOSH/NEBOSH qualifications desirable Proficiencyin SAP and Microsoft Office A proactive approach to leadership, with the ability to manage change and drive performance and continuous improvement At Tarmac,werecommitted to creating a dynamic and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
