What you'll be doing

  • As a Production Inspection Operative (Shift Patroller), you'll be out on the Plant, keeping everything running smoothly and stepping in when it matters most.
  • Patrol stone processing plants to monitor performance and identify issues early
  • Act quickly on faults to minimise downtime and maintain output
  • Support operators in achieving shift KPIs
  • Carry out planned and proactive inspections
  • Assist with mechanical maintenance and fault finding
  • Ensure conveyor systems and plant equipment are operating safely and efficiently
  • Complete clear and accurate shift reports
  • Work to the highest safety standards, contributing to a zero-harm environment

Shift Pattern

You will be working 4 on (2 days / 2 nights) / 4 off rotation and overtime is available too.

Experience required:

  • Experience in an industrial, manufacturing or heavy Plant environment
  • A strong safety-first attitude
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • IT and basic report writing skills
  • Knowledge of crushing, screening or washing processes (advantageous)
  • Experience with mobile or fixed plant equipment (advantageous)
  • Basic mechanical understanding and fault-finding skills (advantageous)
  • Familiarity with maintenance systems and reporting (advantageous)
