Are you a Shift Electrician looking for your next venture? We are proud to be building a dynamic and inclusive workplace where every background, voice and idea is welcomed. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful Shift Electrician will be a key member of the Cement plant shift team.
You will monitor the automated performance of the pre-heater, kiln feeder, rotary kiln burner, calciner, exhaust gases, emissions and cooler processes by using the on-site FLS and TDM systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out designated plant safety and maintenance inspections and developing safe systems of work such as method statements, risk assessments and dynamic point of work risk assessment.
- Carrying out electrical fault finding, maintenance and repair work to support the team and deliver team performance targets.
- Recording maintenance activities and work requests through SAP/CMMS planned maintenance system.
- Assisting in the commissioning of new plant and equipment.
Requirements:
- Hold an HNC/D Electrical or equivalent.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical equipment combined with heavy industrial plant experience.
This role will, at times, involve night working, weekends and bank holidays.
