What You'll Be Doing

As a Transport Planner you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of materials across the region. Working closely with customers, drivers, planners, hauliers and internal teams, you'll be at the centre of the operation, making real-time decisions and keeping deliveries moving. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring same-day deliveries and handling customer queries and complaints, communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborative approach and strong team-working skills.
  • Commercial awareness and sound decision-making ability.
  • Strong IT skills and experience using planning or scheduling systems.
  • Knowledge of transport legislation (advantageous).
  • Geographical knowledge of the Midlands region (preferred).
