We are looking for someone who can deliver first class service to our customers. Accurately capturing orders, planning efficient delivery schedules, and ensuring our fleet is utilised in the most cost-effective way. You will be at the heart of our RMX operations, working closely with internal teams, contract hauliers, and a diverse external customer base to keep everything moving.

What you will be doing

  • Building strong working relationships with customers, drivers, internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Accurately taking and inputting customer orders into the system.
  • Responding confidently and positively to customer needs, ensuring exceptional service at all times.
  • Scheduling and planning timely deliveries, using the Nimrod planning system and mapping tools, optimising truck utilisation and cost.
  • Making informed decisions on fleet numbers, vehicle transfers, and hired truck requirements.
  • Understanding Owner Driver earnings and balancing cost-effective options.
  • Supporting the transport management teams with any haulier/driver concerns that arise.
  • Monitoring real-time progress of scheduled orders and proactively resolving issues.
  • Communicating clearly with customers about delivery progress, including immediate updates on delays.
  • Liaising with plants to ensure raw materials are available for planned deliveries and Value-Added Products.
  • Participating in daily/weekly programme reviews with the wider team.
  • Visiting customer sites, sector plants and shipping offices across the region to plan delivery programmes, monitor service levels, and deepen operational understanding.
  • Responsible for team KPI management and specific admin tasks related to logistical management.
