The Administrator will be a highly visible role which includes efficiently organising meeting spaces for meetings, conferences and events.
You will also be responsible for the health, safety and wellbeing of all employees, visitors and contractors using the office facilities in the North‑East and ensure the offices are an inviting, open and inclusive place to work from.
This is a part‑time position for 27.5 hours per week.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Ensuring all service provider contracts including security and cleaning are optimised for service delivery
- Working closely with the purchasing team to optimise contracted spend with approved suppliers
- Ensuring the offices remain up to date in terms of IT connectivity and best practice
- Ensuring the North‑East offices meet all Health & Safety standards and comply with all legal requirements
- Ensuring that the Environmental, Quality and Safety Management systems and procedures are understood and enacted
- Sharing best practices with colleagues from other parts of the business and industry
- Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues
- You'll be a great fit for this role if you have
- Experience of managing an office or other such facility (preferred)
- IT literacy to perform required tasks and responsibilities, including knowledge of corporate procurement rules
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Statutory Inspection knowledge in an office environment would be preferred but not essential
