What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify and develop new, innovative RMX products aligned to market opportunities
  • Evaluate designs against performance, cost, and commercial viability
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and customers to spot opportunities
  • Plan and execute laboratory and plant trials
  • Ensure compliance through audits and testing protocols
  • Deliver technical training to product support and operational teams
  • Drive continuous improvement across site and laboratory practices
  • Monitor and optimise control and batching systems
  • Support integration of new products into mainstream production processes
  • Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence in all activities

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of Readymix testing processes and corrective actions
  • Knowledge of cement chemistry and admixture technologies
  • Ability to translate technical performance into practical, scalable solutions
  • Proactive approach and solution‑focused mindset

  • Committed to continuous learning, particularly in sustainability
  • City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (or equivalent) Concrete‑related qualification (e.g., Concrete Society, University Certificate in Concrete Technology) advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience of concrete products, processes, applications, and best practice
