Job Purpose: You will manage Residential Retail & Distribution Marketing and Merchandising in the UK and Ireland for residential products (LVT and Residential rolls) sold in the retail (as a main focus), wholesale, builders’ merchants and DIY routes to market, through collaboration with EMEA Home & LVT BU teams and local Distribution sales teams, and in close collaboration with our local customers.
Responsibilities:
- Support our ambitions to grow presence in UK retail and distribution.
- Develop and deploy concepts for locally designed communication tools, sampling & merchandising tools, residential websites and digital promotion or localise tools designed at BU level, in relationship with Tarkett EMEA’s internal agency and sampling team.
- Train UK and Ireland Residential sales and customer service teams on residential products, distribution needs and management of merchandising tools.
- Propose, support, and activate retailers’ loyalty programs, in coordination with sales Director and team.
- Plan and manage retail trade shows attendance.
- Ensure brand consistency and presentation of products at points of sale (In-store displays).
- Develop concepts for locally designed new points of sale (POS) or deploy BU designed concepts, and manage relationship with flooring suppliers.
- Provide daily support to sales team.
- Ensure and control timely deployment of promotion campaigns.
- Ensure and control maintenance of displays and merchandising materials in stores.
- Observe, report and consider all relevant market and competition evolutions of points of sale and retail online promotion in your area.
- Monitor and improve POS and tools performance through operational follow-ups in CRM and field presence with our UK sales teams and customers.
- Identify opportunities and implement promotional partnerships with retail clients, including in-store and digital co-branding campaigns, in close coordination with the BU Communication Manager and Digital Marketing specialist.
- Support marketing team on any relevant topic in which your contribution is required.
- Monitor the results of your actions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in marketing, retail and merchandising.
- Master’s Degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
