Strategy Consultant, Cyber Security
Consultant, Senior Consultant and Manager level
Salary up to £85K
I’m working with a fast-growing strategy & innovation consultancy, who are looking to expand their cyber security team with entrepreneurial and ambitious consultants. This firm has a reputation for challenging the norm, fostering innovation, and offering excellent opportunities for career progression and proposition development.
The team:
The team works with clients across industries including financial services, sports, retail, energy, and technology to strengthen resilience, manage risk, and align cyber strategies with business goals.
Their engagements are diverse, ranging from cyber strategy and operating model design, to risk management, regulatory readiness, and board-level advisory. The team also contributes to broader transformation programmes across data, digital, and AI.
The role:
This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in a growing capability, working directly with senior client stakeholders (CISO, CIO, CRO, and board members) to provide strategic cyber advisory services. You’ll have the chance to shape propositions, contribute to thought leadership, and influence the future direction of the practice.
Candidates will have experience in some of the following areas:
- Cyber strategy & maturity assessments
- Target operating model design
- Regulatory readiness (e.g. GDPR, NIS2, DORA)
- Cyber risk management & governance
- Board-level cyber advisory
The role will cover these key areas:
- Complex strategy & transformation leadership – engage with C-suite execs and MDs of clients to understand their problem and shape and ultimately deliver complex strategic and transformational solutions.
- Practice development – practice leadership and team management, but also \”capability strategy\”. My client wants to build a best-in-class practice, so your role is to help define and deliver on what skills they need to bring in to realise that ambition.
- Existing client strategy – my client has done some really interesting work to date with HSBC, DAZN, ASOS, LVMH, Diageo and Citi, to name a few, but they\’d like to do more with these firms. Who do they need to speak to? What propositions do they need to mature? Where else can they support?
- New client strategy – the addressable market for Cyber Security is absolutely massive, so where to start? Your role is to define and execute a strategy to go after the low-hanging fruit, design market leading propositions, and engage with the key clients in the market.
The logistics:
My client offers a base salary up to £85,000, dependent on experience, with really exciting bonus and benefits on top. This role is London based. If this ticks the boxes for you please apply.
Regretfully, due to a high volume of applicants, we are only able to reply to those who are successful.
Equal Opportunities:
We are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all employees and job applicants. In line with the Equality Act 2010, we strive to create and maintain a working environment in which all individuals are able to make the best use of their skills, free from discrimination or harassment, and in which all decisions are based on merit. No individual is subjected to any less favourable treatment on any discriminatory grounds on the basis of age, disability, gender reassignment, marital or civil partner status, pregnancy and maternity, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
