Our P.E Backed Client are currently looking for a 6-12 month Procurement Consultant, with scope across both sides of their procurement:
- OPEX – ongoing BAU procurement with primary categories of professional services, transport, temporary labour, warehouse equipment (forklifts etc)
- CAPEX – major development projects (€50m+) and associated materials and services for their construction
In terms of what they are looking for:
- A few years procurement experience with track record of delivering end to end results (including setting frameworks and training the team on how to procure better)
- Self-starter – will need to work pretty independently with some support from finance and other teams, but would be expected to drive their own programme
- Engaging personality – needs to be someone who will work well with teams and interact with the wider Team on delivering change / transformation. This is vital to help drive the necessary change in a manner that brings the people on the journey.
- Consultancy Experience would be an added desirable, as would experience within Pan-European, Supply chain / warehousing type environments.
Immediate start for the right candidate and day rate is flexible, depending on background of experience.
