We are currently on the lookout for a Senior Manager (Level 2) to join our Client's Transformation team on a 12m FTC, starting in August. You’ll be helping Community, Acute Trusts, and other healthcare providers adopt new technologies to improve patient experience and the way they operate. The Transformation team is on hand for every client that uses the Platform, to ensure they get the most out of it. They want every installation of their platform to deliver the best possible results at every hospital, without exception.
You will have a background in management consulting and change or programme management experience - delivering technology or significant operational change in the NHS. At Senior Manager level, you'll be the person our clients rely on to deliver complex, multi-stakeholder programmes end-to-end, navigating trust governance, clinical and operational teams, and everything in between. With this being the more senior "Level 2 Manager" role, you will also need to build Client accounts for the Business. You will need to build strong client relationships, demonstrate strong account management and business development skills and grow existing accounts. You will also contribute to team capability by sharing knowledge and supporting the development of more junior colleagues.
You'll be comfortable holding yourself to a high standard, analysing the benefits your programmes deliver, and spotting opportunities to increase the value we bring to their clients. You’ll also be comfortable spotting and driving opportunities for growth of that client.
One of the great things about a scale-up is that every day is different and there is always an opportunity to get involved in something outside of your ‘BAU’! However, the key things you could expect would include:
- Own the full delivery lifecycle for a portfolio of clients, from kick-off through to benefits realisation
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder programmes across clinical, operational, and administrative teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including at Director and C-suite level
- Analyse and present programme outcomes and benefits data to non-technical audiences
- Apply change management and consulting skills flexibly to solve operational and technical problems
- Contribute to account growth by identifying opportunities to expand the value DrDoctor delivers
- Contribute to team capability by sharing knowledge and supporting the development of more junior colleagues
We’d love to find someone who loves to collaborate and enjoys being in-person. My Client do operate a remote by default working approach, but they do have a London office which they’d love to see you in as often as you can, although this isn’t mandatory and it's definitely not a deal breaker! They have people based all over the UK, and in India and they’re very well set up for remote working! They also have a concentration of clients in the East Midlands currently, so if you are located near there, that could also be of benefit.
Depending on your role, they'd usually expect people to be in the office for team collaboration, attending some of their in-person events, or with clients on a semi-regular basis. For some, this could mean travelling once a month, for others (particularly client facing roles), this might be more like once or twice a week. My Client will give you more information about this during the interview process.
What experience do I need to have?
- Significant experience delivering technology or operational transformation programmes within NHS or wider public sector settings
- Demonstrable track record of account ownership and growth
- Background in consulting, change management, or programme management in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong senior stakeholder management skills, including at Director level and above
- Experience mentoring or developing more junior team members is advantageous
This is an excellent opportunity and if of potential interest then please apply here, or contact me on 07808 782801.
