Our client is the world's most iconic global sports and entertainment organisations, delivering a championship watched by hundreds of millions of fans across more than 20 countries each year. They are seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to join its growing central Strategy function, playing a key role in shaping the long-term direction of one of the world's most recognised sports and entertainment businesses.

Working within a small, high-performing team, you'll partner with senior leaders across commercial, operations, technology and corporate functions to define strategic priorities, evaluate growth opportunities and support major business decisions. This is a highly visible role offering exposure across the organisation, where you'll combine commercial thinking with robust financial modelling to influence decisions that have a tangible impact on the business.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, building compelling business cases and influencing senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The Senior Strategy Manager will…

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and deliver the organisation's long-term corporate strategy.
  • Build complex financial models and commercial business cases to support strategic investment decisions.
  • Analyse market trends, industry dynamics and macroeconomic factors to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities and strategic initiatives across multiple business functions.
  • Support the annual strategic planning and budgeting process, working closely with department leaders to define priorities and investment roadmaps.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations, recommendations and executive materials for senior leadership and key business stakeholders.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to departments across the organisation, providing commercial insight and analytical support.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and develop strategies that support sustainable long-term growth.
  • Scope and lead cross-functional strategic projects, working collaboratively across commercial, operational and corporate teams.
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels by building strong relationships and navigating a complex, collaborative business environment.

You'll bring…

  • Experience within strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, corporate finance or a similar strategic environment.
  • Strong financial modelling skills, with the ability to build robust commercial models and business cases.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate analysis into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making across multiple business functions.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to independently lead complex pieces of work.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage audiences from operational teams through to executive leadership.
  • Strong political awareness and the ability to influence through collaboration rather than hierarchy.
  • A structured, analytical approach combined with intellectual curiosity and sound commercial judgement.
  • An interest in understanding the wider business and industry landscape. Experience within sport, media or entertainment is beneficial but not essential.

Why You'll Love It

  • Opportunity to shape the long-term strategy of a globally recognised organisation.
  • High-profile role with exposure to senior leadership and business-critical decisions.
  • Diverse project portfolio spanning commercial growth, new business opportunities and corporate strategy.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with significant autonomy and ownership.
  • Clear opportunities for long-term career development across strategy and the wider business.
  • Hybrid working model with offices in London and Biggin Hill.
