The Data Platform Architecture & Engineering Consultant will sit at the intersection of strategy, innovation and delivery, leading the design and implementation of modern, cloud-native data platforms that power advanced analytics, AI and enterprise transformation.
Role Highlights- Lead the architecture and delivery of scalable, secure data and AI platforms across cloud environments
- Design and implement hybrid and cloud-native data architectures using modern data platforms
- Create proofs of concept and MVPs that demonstrate measurable business value from data and AI
- Embed DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code to accelerate and harden delivery
- Shape enterprise data platform strategy, roadmaps and architecture blueprints for senior stakeholders
- Deep experience designing enterprise-grade data platforms and AI-enabled architectures
- Strong hands-on background with AWS, Azure or GCP and modern data technologies
- Proven expertise in DevOps, automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
- Consulting experience advising senior stakeholders and leading complex engagements
- Eligibility for UK security clearance (SC)
- Lead high-visibility data and AI transformation programmes across sectors
- Structured pathway for certifications and continuous learning via a dedicated data academy
