Location: 12 Park Square West, London (on-site)
Contract: Full-time (40hrs per week), Permanent
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per annum commensurate with experience
Hours: 10am-6pm Monday-Friday (TOIL compensation for occasional evening/weekend hours)

Job Role
Working closely with the General Manager, the Office Administrator will contribute to the success of the London office by organising and coordinating client services, managing the front desk, and handling office administration. As the first point of contact for buyers and sellers, the Office Administrator will also develop and maintain positive relationships with our clients. This is a role with plenty of opportunities for growth within the organisation, working with the London and Berlin teams to ensure all administrative requests are understood and fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Liaison – Representing Tarisio to our global clientele, providing excellent customer service
- Serving as brand ambassador for Tarisio, always portraying a warm, hospitable demeanour
- Fielding all enquiries; managing the company’s telephone and email account
- Administrative duties / Front of House – Receiving visitors at the front desk and engaging enquiries destined for sales staff and specialists
- Handling client, shipping and premises-related admin
- Booking shipments in compliance with domestic and international shipping/customs requirements (using couriers such as FedEx, UPS and DHL)
- Other administrative duties as may be reasonably assigned by senior management in London or Berlin
- Auctions and Private Sales – Organising workflow to meet deadlines within a cyclical rhythm of auctions 2-3 times per year
- Preparing/producing publicity materials eg. bespoke sale dossiers, newspaper advertisements, mailers
- Organising evaluation days, including hotel booking and inventory logistics
- Administrative support for the Head of London and specialists
Personal Specifications (desired)
- Experience in client services or hospitality
- Experience within a related industry or similar company
- Experience handling stringed instruments
- Fluency in English (foreign language skills a plus)
- Strong customer service ethics and high expectations for quality of service
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent time management skills, organisation and attention to detail
- Adaptability in an ever-changing and fast-paced work environment
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills, with an ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to drive proactive communication
- Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team
