These placements are designed for students who have recently completed a relevant degree or those undertaking a required “year in industry” as part of their course — ready to turn their knowledge into real impact while growing alongside us. This placement is subject to an enhanced DBS check (with Children’s Barred list).

Role: Paralegal Internship

Contract Duration: 10 - 11 months

Type: Internship

Hours: 3-4 days per week (9am-5pm)

Department: Legal

Location: Wrexham (various sites)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Our Work Placement programme is designed to offer participants hands-on experience of working in-house in a football club. You will gain a real-life insight into the life of a paralegal working in the sports sector across a variety of practice areas. Examples of the type of work you will be doing:

  • Drafting: contracts, correspondence and presentations.
  • Shadowing: meetings and calls.
  • Research: into legal queries raised by various departments.

What We Are Looking For:

Undergraduate / SQE students who are passionate about pursuing a career in sports law. Skills that would be useful for the role:

  • Excellent written/verbal communication
  • Attention to detail
  • A keen interest in a particular area of law

In-house Legal Departments Cover a Broad Range Of Work. It Would Therefore Be Useful If You Had Experience In One Or More Of The Following Areas Of Law:

  • Commercial
  • Sports
  • Data protection
  • Corporate
