These placements are designed for students who have recently completed a relevant degree or those undertaking a required “year in industry” as part of their course — ready to turn their knowledge into real impact while growing alongside us. This placement is subject to an enhanced DBS check (with Children’s Barred list).
Role Overview
Wrexham AFC is committed to delivering an outstanding experience for supporters on every visit to the STŌK Cae Ras. The Fan Experience Intern will support the Stadium Experience & Fan Engagement team in improving the overall supporter journey — from purchasing tickets to arriving at the stadium, enjoying the matchday atmosphere, and leaving the ground. This internship offers practical experience in sports operations, fan engagement, and live event delivery within a professional football club.
Key Responsibilities
- Matchday Experience Support — Assist with delivering matchday fan engagement activities around the stadium.
- Matchday Experience Support — Support the coordination of fan zones, family activities, and supporter activations.
- Matchday Experience Support — Help ensure fans receive a welcoming and positive matchday experience.
- Ticketing & Fan Services Support — Assist the Fan Services team with supporter enquiries where appropriate.
