We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join a well-established firm of Accountants based in Warrington. This position has arisen due to the continued growth and success of the practice, and we are looking to recruit a candidate to join our friendly and proactive team. Previous experience is not necessary, full training will be provided. Our firm services clients nationwide and maintains strong relationships within the local business community. We provide a wide range of Accounting and Advisory services. The job offers a varied and well-rounded role with clear development and progression opportunities.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory year-end accounts for a variety of clients
- Preparing bookkeeping records using cloud accounting software (Xero, FreeAgent, etc.)
- Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns
- Submitting corporation tax returns
- Supporting senior team members with management accounts preparation
- Providing general support across the accounts team
Ideally You Should Be Able To Demonstrate The Following
- Strong A-Level results or Degree Level education (desirable but not essential)
- Confident using IT systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
