In a Nutshell
Our Graduate Construction Pathway is designed for aspiring Site Managers, Project Managers, Construction Directors, and anyone with a natural interest in project management, construction technology and quality. The programme runs for 18 months, beginning in September 2026, and provides rotations across key business areas – Construction, Health & Safety, Technical, Development, Commercial and Customer Service. Rotations are structured with specific learning objectives to equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to become a strong all‑rounder in the construction field. The role is typically based at the Stirchley site (subject to change).

You should hold a relevant degree at 2:2 level or above and a valid driver’s licence, as the role requires some travel. As a Construction Graduate, your duties will vary across rotations, but your core responsibilities include:
- Completing all rotations to the best of your ability and meeting targets set by each rotational supervisor
- Actively pursuing all learning opportunities presented within the programme
- Integrating into each team and supporting them in achieving their goals while building meaningful professional relationships
- Absorbing knowledge, expertise and advice from teams, asking questions and probing to deepen your understanding
- Contributing proactively to key business initiatives, projects and launches, offering ideas where opportunities arise
- Participating as an active member of the Vistry Graduate community, attending quarterly Graduate meetings, masterclasses and professional development events
- Advocating for careers in construction at events, fairs and other engagement opportunities
- Acting as a buddy to new graduates, ensuring they are supported throughout their learning journey
- Committing to further study, qualifications and accreditations where appropriate
- Engaging positively with leaders and support systems, regularly meeting to discuss progress and seek advice
