The opportunity: your next adventure awaits. EY’s Tax Industrial Placement enables you to shape your future with confidence. You’ll see how bots can assist with number crunching and work on sustainability projects that positively impact people and the planet. EY’s tax teams advise clients on simple and complex tax concepts, offering innovative tax technology and learning opportunities across a range of services.

This one-year programme allows you to gain hands-on experience, while earning a competitive wage. You’ll have access to regular training opportunities, and you may be offered a place on the Tax Graduate Programme after completion.

What You Will Do

  • Work across various specialist tax teams within UK & Ireland or Financial Services.
  • Contribute to technical research alongside senior colleagues.
  • Collaborate with audit teams assisting in the review of tax disclosures and other tax items in the accounts.
  • Interact with global EY teams on tax compliance engagements, gaining an overview of tax requirements worldwide.
  • Build important relationships with clients.
  • Work alongside other onshore juniors and coordinate with offshore resources.
  • Be involved in internal business development tasks that broaden your understanding of the firm and services offered.

You’ll be learning on the job and will be given access to regular training opportunities. Plus, your experience doesn’t stop once you’ve completed the programme – you may be offered a place on the Tax Graduate Programme to continue your career development.
