Joining our Tax team
Our Tax team supports clients with both compliance and advisory services across corporation and personal tax. As a Tax Associate, you may work in either or both areas, gaining exposure to a wide variety of clients and tax matters.
Your role as a Tax Associate:
- Corporate Tax: Work within our corporation tax compliance team, supporting a range of clients including SMEs, listed businesses, international groups, and football clubs. Assist with advisory projects to help clients achieve tax-efficient outcomes. Build long-term relationships with clients and understand their business goals.
- Personal Tax: Prepare Self‑Assessment Tax Returns, Inheritance Tax forms, capital gains calculations, and disclosures. Support personal tax advisory work, including succession planning and business sales. Gain experience across both compliance and advisory services, working with a mixed portfolio of clients.
Your Training & Support
You’ll receive structured training in tax compliance, legislation, and advisory techniques. You’ll be supported by experienced mentors and work on real client projects from day one. You’ll build skills in technical tax knowledge, client communication, and digital tools, helping you grow into a confident and capable tax professional.
Qualifications
We offer a range of qualification pathways at Azets depending on the role. For this position, you’ll follow the ATT/CTA pathway, starting with the ATT qualification and progressing to CTA.
