With this in mind, Assala Energy is offering 3 paid internships and 4 short‑term work experience opportunities within its London office for Gabonese students and recent graduates who are already based in the UK. These placements are designed to provide early career talent with valuable practical exposure, professional mentorship, and a better understanding of how different disciplines support our business.

Placement opportunities are available across a range of disciplines, including but not limited to:

  • Geosciences
  • Engineering & Projects
  • Legal & Compliance
  • HSSE
  • Finance
  • Human Resources

The experience is intended to provide students and graduates with meaningful hands‑on exposure, structured support, and professional guidance at an important stage in their academic or early career journey.

As an Assala Energy intern or work experience student, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a basic understanding of the oil and gas industry, although this is not essential
  • Are fluent in both English and French
