Clear‑Com is a globally recognized provider of real‑time communications solutions, particularly for broadcast, live performance, and other high‑quality audio environments. We focus on developing and deploying our portfolio of intercom systems across embedded Linux, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms. The Engineering Team is hiring a Software Engineering Placement to contribute to the design, development, analysis, and testing of intercom products in an Agile environment. This 48‑week internship offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of engineers and gain hands‑on experience with software and firmware integration.
Location: Cambridge Engineering office (Cambridge Research Park, Cambridge).
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new features primarily in C, C++, Electron, JavaScript, or Node.js for professional intercom products.
- Apply Agile and lean methodologies within a scrum team, including mentorship.
- Write and validate unit and integration tests to ensure product quality.
- Participate in code reviews and update functional specifications accordingly.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
Qualifications:
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Highly motivated with meticulous attention to detail.
