Overview

KPMG in the UK offers a paid, 3-day Social Mobility Talent Insight Programme (24 – 26 June 2026) to give participants insights into a career with the firm and the opportunity to secure a position on one of our graduate programmes.

Program Details

This event is open to students expected to graduate in 2026 or 2027, or who have already graduated. You will receive a stipend, attend workshops, network with diverse KPMG professionals, and have the chance to complete an assessment. Successful participants may secure a place in an autumn 2026 or autumn 2027 graduate programme.

Eligible Participants

We aim to provide insight to students from lower socio‑economic backgrounds. Eligibility is based on:

  • Attended state school or college.
  • Occupation of the main household earner at age 14 classified as lower socio‑economic background, or
  • Eligibility for free school meals while at school, or attended a school with above‑regional‑average free meals.
  • First member of the immediate family to attend university.

Social Mobility Criteria Explained

Parental occupation classification follows a national standard. Further details can be found in the Social Mobility Work’s toolkit.

Free School Meals are a statutory benefit for children from families receiving qualifying benefits and who have completed the registration process. Meals received through other means, such as boarding schools, are not included.

Benefits

Participants will learn about the professional services industry, enhance their CV, and build professional networks. The program is paid and offers exposure to audit and tax career opportunities within KPMG.
