Position Summary

Enterprise Skills Accelerator is an intensive development programme geared toward future-focused leadership skills. Through real-world ‘gigs’ (placements), group projects, self-driven learning, and access to our leaders and networks, you’ll gain behavioural, technical and mindset skills to set you up for success, at pace. Within 12 months, you’ll attain a postgraduate qualification and unlock an agile mindset, with the ability to learn, unlearn and relearn to meet the future of work. You’ll develop an appreciation for emerging tech and AI in the business environment, enabling you to challenge how we work while adding strategic value and commercial impact, with the potential to become an agile leader in any area. This experience is tailored to you with ongoing skills assessments and opportunities across the enterprise, leadership coaching, and the ability to self-direct your study toward a professional qualification.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an intensive personalised programme, we can’t specify the exact experience, but here’s a rough outline of the journey:

  • In October 2026, an immersive 1-month induction across the UK to connect with leaders and learn about our culture, strategy, and products and services that power, protect and connect people globally.
  • Fully funded postgraduate qualification with support networks, understanding key modules and resources for self-directed learning.
  • A week-long residential course with Outward Bound to test and develop human skills, agility and resilience.
  • Post-induction skills assessment to identify strengths and development areas, followed by a 5-month gig to develop business and technical skills.
  • Gigs span the enterprise, from strategy and sales to change programmes, negotiations and programme/change execution.
  • Midway, collaborate on a 6-month strategic project to solve a real business challenge and present a roadmap and business case to executive leaders; exclusive masterclasses, senior sponsorship, and one-to-one mentoring throughout.
  • After 12 months, a second skills assessment determines progression into a future role within the enterprise, aligned with your skills and pace of value delivery.

Who We’re Looking For

Business-minded graduates who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn. The programme is designed for those early in their career; graduates should have completed their degree in the last three years (by start date) and be mobile to travel to, and based from, key UK locations in Bristol, Derby and London. If you thrive on change, want to accelerate your career, and are excited to shape the future of a global, ambitious enterprise, we’d love to hear from you. The Enterprise Skills Accelerator equips graduates with foundational skills, structured development, support networks and early career experiences. For those with more experience, options exist through SWITCH or Launch programmes. The Accelerator is not designed to develop engineering or technical skills; if you have studied engineering, consider our Engineering & Technology Graduate Scheme or Launch opportunities. Our behaviours drive us — safety first, doing the right thing, keeping it simple and making a difference.
