About the Opportunity
Brand Activation Intern for the Laxatives category, focusing on the Dulcolax brand in the UK. The role is a fixed‑term contract for one year and is based in Reading, Berkshire. We are looking for consumer‑oriented, performance‑driven, communicative, and analytical candidates who are passionate about consumer healthcare. This position offers the chance to contribute to short‑ and mid‑term executional excellence and to support Opella’s goal of becoming the leading fast‑moving consumer healthcare company. The intern will work in a dynamic and international team collaborating closely with the UK Brand Manager, the Western Europe Zone team, and local functions across Sales, Media, Shopper, Performance, Innovation, Medical, Regulatory, and Supply.

Hybrid Role: 3 days per week in office
Key Responsibilities
- Support developing and implementing consumer campaigns
- Assist in the development of creative assets (TV, digital, etc.) and promotional materials, including project management of timelines, briefings, and feedback rounds
- Support external events and activations
- Manage approval processes for promotional materials in local and health authority systems
- Track and analyze market and competition trends
- Track and analyze media plans and promotional actions
- Support operational tasks and reporting
- Participate in sales meetings and prepare key messages and presentations
- Build transversal and external relationships with local stakeholders and agencies, ensuring clarity in communication and market insight
Essential Requirements
- Education: BSc or MSc (ideally in Business or Marketing); recent graduate
- Languages: Fluent in English
- Professional experience: Good level of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential); previous internship experience in FMCG or OTC is a plus
- Competencies & skills: Proactivity, excellence in delivery, results orientation and problem solving, analytical thinking, project management skills, ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, strong communication skills
