Goodnotes is seeking two Product Design Interns to join different teams for a 12-week summer internship (May/June 2026). This role involves working on real problems, shipping real work, and collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers.

Roles and Teams

  • Product Design Intern – Growth Team: Focus on onboarding, activation, retention, and upgrade flows, including experiments and cross-platform experiences. Candidate must be based in Singapore.
  • Product Design Intern – B2B Team: Build experiences for admins, teams, and shared workspaces, emphasizing scalability, trust, and clarity. Candidate must be based in London.

What you’ll work on (Responsibilities)

  • Design flows that improve activation, engagement, and conversion
  • Support growth experiments across web, tablet, and mobile
  • Collaborate with PMs and engineers on data-informed design decisions
  • Explore how design impacts business outcomes, not just visuals
  • Contribute to the Goodnotes design system in Figma
  • Design experiences for integrations, collaboration, and workspaces (B2B)
  • Work on complex, real-world product problems with multiple user types
  • Collaborate closely with senior designers on structured product flows
  • Help evolve our design system for B2B use cases
  • Learn how enterprise needs differ from consumer products
  • Design in Figma, following and contributing to a shared design system
  • Support the full design process: exploration, wireframes, UI, and iteration
  • Run or assist with usability testing and synthesize insights
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers
  • Learn how high-quality product design ships in a real production environment

What you need to be successful (Qualifications)

  • Penultimate or final-year student in Product Design, UX, HCI, Visual Design, or a related field
  • Strong visual and interaction design fundamentals
  • Confidence using Figma
  • Advanced or proficient level of English
  • Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn
  • Passion for digital note-taking and productivity tools

Preferred Requirements

  • Familiarity with user research methods
  • Experience contributing to a design system
  • Fluency in additional languages
  • Previous use of Goodnotes (especially for the B2B team)
