Goodnotes is seeking two Product Design Interns to join different teams for a 12-week summer internship (May/June 2026). This role involves working on real problems, shipping real work, and collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers.
Roles and Teams
- Product Design Intern – Growth Team: Focus on onboarding, activation, retention, and upgrade flows, including experiments and cross-platform experiences. Candidate must be based in Singapore.
- Product Design Intern – B2B Team: Build experiences for admins, teams, and shared workspaces, emphasizing scalability, trust, and clarity. Candidate must be based in London.
What you’ll work on (Responsibilities)
- Design flows that improve activation, engagement, and conversion
- Support growth experiments across web, tablet, and mobile
- Collaborate with PMs and engineers on data-informed design decisions
- Explore how design impacts business outcomes, not just visuals
- Contribute to the Goodnotes design system in Figma
- Design experiences for integrations, collaboration, and workspaces (B2B)
- Work on complex, real-world product problems with multiple user types
- Collaborate closely with senior designers on structured product flows
- Help evolve our design system for B2B use cases
- Learn how enterprise needs differ from consumer products
- Design in Figma, following and contributing to a shared design system
- Support the full design process: exploration, wireframes, UI, and iteration
- Run or assist with usability testing and synthesize insights
- Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers
- Learn how high-quality product design ships in a real production environment
What you need to be successful (Qualifications)
- Penultimate or final-year student in Product Design, UX, HCI, Visual Design, or a related field
- Strong visual and interaction design fundamentals
- Confidence using Figma
- Advanced or proficient level of English
- Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn
- Passion for digital note-taking and productivity tools
Preferred Requirements
- Familiarity with user research methods
- Experience contributing to a design system
- Fluency in additional languages
- Previous use of Goodnotes (especially for the B2B team)
