We are looking for an enthusiastic Materials & Logistics student to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Supply Chain business unit in Huddersfield. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential! This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer 2026.
- Working with worldwide project teams, Plant Materials, Demand Management, Account Management and Purchasing on new products parts forecast & planning
- Assist Planning & Logistics with Packaging data collections, system maintenance & improvement projects
- Assisting Materials with Freight Data and Premium Freight Activities
- Assisting Planning & Logistics with VPI (New Product Introduction) and Supply Chain Cost Reporting
- Manipulating and using data to establish the basis for actions
- Sourcing information, interpreting, developing and implementing solutions to achieve results by set deadlines
We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying across a broad range of degrees which could include Business, Supply Chain and Logistics. A good level of Microsoft skills including Excel and PowerPoint are required, Power BI would also be advantageous although is not essential. Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills in order to work with colleagues from different time zones and cultural backgrounds. Willingness to learn and solve problems.
