Do you have what it takes to join our Business Space Agency team?

We're looking for a motivated, ambitious, and commercially minded Graduate Surveyor to join our growing Business Space Agency (BSA) team in September 2027.

Based at our office in Oxford, you'll gain hands-on experience across a diverse portfolio while working alongside industry-leading experts and building the foundations of a successful surveying career.

Our highly regarded BSA team acts for a broad range of investors, developers, and occupiers on prestigious commercial schemes across Oxford and the surrounding areas.

The team has been involved in some of the largest and influential deals during the last few years and continues to be one of the leading consultancy teams in the region.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Supporting the marketing of available properties, including maintaining property databases, updating online listings, and coordinating marketing materials.
  • Preparing marketing reports, property schedules, and client documentation.
  • Handling applicant inquiries, managing follow-up communications, and assisting with business development activities.
  • Accompanying qualified surveyors on property inspections, measurements, and viewings.
  • Supporting negotiations with prospective occupiers and purchasers under the guidance of qualified surveyors.
  • Attending client meetings and providing general administrative and operational support to the wider surveying team.
  • What you'll achieve

As a Graduate Surveyor, you'll gain hands-on experience across a broad range of projects while working alongside experienced professionals.

You'll develop your technical expertise, build client relationships, contribute to project delivery, and work towards achieving RICS Chartered status.

You'll have the opportunity to grow alongside us, and we're committed to supporting your progress every step of the way.

We'll provide extensive assistance and tailored support to help you work towards your RICS APC, where our strong first-time pass rate speaks for itself.

You'll also join our two-year graduate development program , designed to enhance your personal effectiveness, commercial and financial acumen and client delivery skills.

This program will help you build a robust foundation for a successful career in the property sector, taking you beyond your current technical expertise.

About You

  • A RICS-accredited degree in a relevant discipline, achieved at 2:1 classification or above.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable

  • Previous work experience within the property sector and/or a customer-facing environment.
  • An understanding of land and property matters, particularly in relation to the RICS APC competencies.
  • Strong report-writing and analytical skills.

Test: Following our initial application review, shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an online aptitude test.

Invitations are expected to be issued on or around 6th November.

  • Stage 1 Interview (Microsoft Teams): Candidates who successfully complete the aptitude test will be invited to a 15-minute virtual interview with our Early Careers lead.

These interviews will take place between 23rd November and 4th December.

  • Final Interview & Assessment

Centre: Successful candidates will then be invited to attend our final interview and assessment centre on Thursday 17th December.

This stage provides an opportunity for you to learn more about Bidwells, meet members of the team and demonstrate your skills through a series of activities and interviews.
