What You’ll Be Doing

It’s not easy getting millions of people to their destinations safely and on time every day, but it is rewarding. Throughout this 12-month placement, you’ll learn exactly what goes into achieving this goal. On our Operations Management placement you’ll learn all about what it takes to deliver the operational railway we know today, including stations, signalling, control and incident response.

Who You Are

You’ll need to be in your penultimate year at university, and on track to achieve at least a 2:2 in any degree subject. We’re looking for organised, engaging individuals that can get the best out of everyone. You should have excellent communication skills, the ability to adapt to new situations and the confidence to work with people of all levels.
