  • Preparing Schedules of Condition and Schedules of Dilapidations, and assisting with negotiation of settlements
  • Undertaking Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) surveys and preparing associated reports
  • Completing Reinstatement Cost Assessments
  • Identifying, analysing and reporting on building defects, with clear and concise written summaries
  • Supporting contract administration instructions including attendance at site meetings, preparation of specifications, and procurement of competitive tenders
  • Preparing contract documents and undertaking progress inspections
  • Assisting with the supervision of building works on site
  • Supporting delivery of refurbishment, maintenance and capital improvement projects
  • Working with JCT contracts and frameworks
  • Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams on complex schemes
  • Supporting client relationship management and contributing to service delivery
  • Engaging in CPD, knowledge-sharing, and internal training initiatives

What We Are Looking For

  • A degree in Building Surveying (RICS-accredited), achieved at 2:1 or above
  • The right to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship
  • A genuine interest in the built environment and the surveying profession
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate reports and correspondence
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your time across multiple projects simultaneously
  • A proactive, curious mindset with the drive to learn and develop quickly
  • A full UK driving license

Desirable

  • Some prior experience in a consultancy or property environment (placement, part-time, or graduate)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office; exposure to AutoCAD is an advantage
  • An understanding of JCT contract forms

What We Offer

  • Competitive starting salary of £28,000 – £34,000
  • Structured APC support with a dedicated supervisor and counsellor, targeting MRICS status
  • Hybrid working arrangements with flexibility built in
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with service
  • Nest pension scheme
  • Ongoing technical training, CPD programme, and funded professional memberships
  • A clear and transparent career progression pathway
  • A supportive, collaborative team culture where your development is taken seriously
