Objectives
- Technical Expertise: Delivering high-quality technical analysis, budgets, system designs, and schematics on time and within budget.
- Design Intent: Defining and maintaining the design intent of products/systems to ensure all set requirements are met.
- Compliance & Documentation: Assisting with the submission of plans and technical documentation to Classification Societies and Statutory Authorities.
- Innovation: Actively developing new technologies and participating in continuous improvement of design outputs.
- Collaboration: Working constructively within the team to solve problems, maintaining a high standard of productivity, and adhering to Health & Safety protocols.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a detail-oriented problem solver who meets the following criteria:
- Education: Minimum of a BEng in Engineering (or similar); however, an MEng/MSc is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Required experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and CAD software (ideally SolidWorks).
- Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with marine hull structures is a distinct advantage but not a prerequisite.
