Nexperia UK is seeking a proactive and motivated HR Graduate to join our UK Semiconductor Manufacturing site based in Hazel Grove Stockport. This is an excellent opportunity to begin your HR career within a high‑tech, fast‑paced environment, supporting a site with 1000+ employees. Over a two‑year period, this role is designed for you to gain full exposure to HR processes, employee lifecycle activities, and cross‑functional projects, whilst becoming a vital part of a close‑knit, collaborative team.

As a HR Graduate at Nexperia you will gain experience in:

  • Onboarding & Employee Experience
    • Support the organisation of employee inductions and orientation programmes
    • Assist in organising employee engagement activities on site
    • Contribute to initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Employee Support & HR Service Delivery
    • Work with the HR team to address employee queries and concerns
    • Support initiatives around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)
  • HR Administration & Data Management
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
    • Prepare HR metrics and reports for management
  • Compliance, Policies & Governance
    • Assist with compliance activities and support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
    • Contribute to HR projects such as policy reviews, internal communications, or culture initiatives

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, Law or Social Sciences
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Great IT skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential information and maintain professionalism
  • Desire to complete a funded CIPD certification alongside work

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing role
  • Experience using an HRIS system
  • Understanding of basic HR processes (onboarding, ER, recruitment, payroll cycles, etc)
