About Us
At Vivify, we're transforming underutilised spaces into thriving community hubs. Our platform empowers schools and community venues to unlock additional income while fostering stronger, healthier, and more connected communities. By partnering with schools nationwide, we help them reinvest in facilities, support educators, and enrich student experiences. We are a rapidly growing business with over 400 Community Hosts and new schools being onboarded each week. We are now looking for a Business Graduate Intern to assist with projects and help our teams within every major area of the business.
This role exists because we operate in a competitive labour market, with variable hours, evenings and weekends, and a geographically dispersed workforce. We need someone who enjoys solving real operational problems, not someone looking for a purely strategic or advisory HR role.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment pipeline & insight
- Own recruitment data for Community Hosts, including time-to-hire, drop-off points, hard-to-fill locations, and early attrition.
- Analyse patterns in lateness, attendance, and customer service issues to inform recruitment decisions.
- Work with operational teams to clearly define the skills and behaviours needed for success in the role.
- Attraction & employer brand
- Design and deliver creative, localised recruitment activity, moving beyond standard job boards.
- Produce honest, engaging recruitment content that reflects both the realities and the positives of the role.
- Improve candidate quality by setting clear expectations from the first interaction.
- Candidate experience & engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for Community Host candidates.
- Maintain consistent, professional communication to reduce candidate drop-off.
- Manage high-volume recruitment activity while protecting candidate experience.
- Compliance-led onboarding
- Manage right to work checks, DBS processes, and safer recruitment requirements.
- Ensure all onboarding is completed accurately, consistently, and on time.
- Maintain robust records and audit-ready documentation.
- Continuous improvement
- Review recruitment and onboarding processes regularly and identify practical improvements.
- Support wider people and operational initiatives where recruitment quality impacts service delivery.
Qualifications
- Essential
- Experience in recruitment coordination, HR operations, or people operations.
- Strong organisational skills and confidence managing multiple recruitment pipelines.
- Comfortable working with data, reporting, and process improvement.
- Clear communicator who can manage expectations with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Pragmatic, resilient, and solutions-focused.
- Desirable
- Experience recruiting for frontline, hourly-paid, or dispersed workforces.
- Knowledge of DBS and safer recruitment processes.
- Interest in employer branding or attraction campaigns.
This Role is for You If...
- You enjoy improving systems, not just maintaining them.
- You're comfortable working in a challenging labour market.
- You like ownership and accountability.
- You want a role where your work has visible impact on service quality and community experience.
Why Join Us?
- A role with genuine ownership and influence.
- The chance to improve how we recruit and support a frontline workforce.
- A values-led organisation focused on community, partnership, and continuous improvement.
- Opportunities to grow as the business and people function develops.
