This placement offers a student the opportunity to gain practical experience as a Scientific Officer.

Requirements
- Advanced Degree with no prior experience, with the opportunity for a one year placement in industry.
- Preferred Fields of Study: Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or related scientific field (e. g., Biology, Chemistry, Engineering).
- Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
- Experience developing and delivering EHS training programs.
- Knowledge in industrial hygiene monitoring, hazardous materials management, and emergency response.
- Ability to analyze EHS data and metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to work with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions.
