Framestore's 2026 Launchpad Internship offers talented and creative individuals a chance to gain hands-on experience at one of Europe's leading creative studios. Interns will learn through studio work, presentations, a personal project, and informal meetups while collaborating on real projects with experienced artists and technologists. Previous interns have contributed to shows like One Piece, Project Hail Mary & How to Train Your Dragon.

Responsibilities

  • Working within the Visual Development team, you'll support early-stage creative development across a range of visual styles and projects.
  • You'll create compelling visuals to help explore and convey creative ideas, using a mix of traditional 2D, 3D workflows and modern generative tools.

Qualifications Required

  • Strong knowledge of 2D packages, including Nuke and Photoshop.
  • Experience using ComfyUI or similar generative tools in creative workflows.
  • Understanding of generative and cloud-based creative technologies.
  • Foundational understanding of Gaussian Splatting.
  • Good communication skills and ability to explain your creative process clearly.
  • Able to take direction and feedback from a supervisor.
  • Creative eye and passion for visual development across different styles.
  • Interest in emerging tools and how they can support creative development.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You must be entering the final year of your studies (BA, MA, PhD etc) or have graduated in the past 12 months.
  • You must be a UK citizen or have a current resident, student or graduate VISA for the duration of the internship.
  • You must be available from 6th July - 28th August 2026.
