We’ll equip you with the skills you won’t just find in a textbook—you’ll get practical techniques and hands-on experience to succeed in real roles. 77% of our Academy trainees come from non-Computing backgrounds.

The Ten10 Academy Journey:
- Learn IT: Start with a short online course covering the fundamentals of computing and AI. Then join our 5-week Core Training, led by former Ten10 consultants. You’ll explore a range of technologies, tools, and mindsets to help identify what suits you best. Free Academy accommodation is provided for the first 2 weeks to help you embed into Ten10 culture and bond with your mentors and peers.
- After core training: You’ll meet with your career mentor and choose your specialist stream.
- Streams: Change Management: Become a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Service Desk Analyst, Software Tester, or RPA Analyst. Platform Engineering: Learn DevOps and AI; become a DevOps Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or Cyber Security Analyst. Data Engineering: Focus on Data Analysis and Business Intelligence. Software Engineering: Delivered face-to-face in our Leeds office. Learn test-driven development and programming languages to become a Developer or Technical Tester.
- Grow IT: Continue self-driven training and development. Want to pursue industry certifications? We’ll fund them. Need 1-to-1 support? You’ve got it. Your personal mentor will help guide your growth.
- Live IT: Work on a real-world project with one of Ten10’s clients, with full support. Projects are matched to your skills, interests, and goals. Clients include fashion brands, government departments, retailers, law firms, and healthcare providers—across England and Scotland. Relocation may be required—but we’ll support you financially and pastorally.
