As a Placements Advisor, you will play a vital role in shaping the student experience for those undertaking the Advanced Practice module. You will work closely with academic teams, careers staff, and programme support to help students secure meaningful work experience, navigate placement requirements, and feel confident in their professional development. What You Will Be Doing:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers
- Generating high-quality work experience and internship opportunities
- Being the first point of contact for student and employer queries
- Delivering clear, engaging information sessions
- Managing placement documentation with accuracy and compliance
- Conducting 1:1 meetings to guide students through their internship journey
- Maintaining databases and tracking placement progress
- Producing reports, communications, and updates for stakeholders
- Collaborating with Careers and Employer Engagement teams
- Reviewing and improving placement processes
Your work will directly contribute to students' confidence, employability, and future careers.
About You:
- A degree or relevant experience in Higher Education or recruitment
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and databases
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Brilliant communication and relationship-building abilities
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative
